1. LEMON JUICE

Doing topical applications of lemon juice helps in getting rid of sunspots. Its juice contains bleaching agents that clear the spots as well as vitamin C that promote the generation of new skin cells.

  • Squeeze out some lemon juice and apply to the spots with a piece of cotton wool.
  • Let it stay on the skin for half an hour and rinse off afterwards with some water.

Apply this remedy twice a day for about a month or two for tremendous turn around. You may need to dilute the juice with some water to reduce its acidity if you have a sensitive skin. You must avoid going into the sun after this process as it makes the skin more sensitive to the sun.

2. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

  • Mix equal amounts of ACV and water (2 or 3 teaspoons each).
  • Apply the remedy to the affected skin areas
  • Allow it a couple of minutes before finally washing off with water.

You may do this daily for a month or two to completely get rid of sunspots.

3. APPLE CIDER AND ORANGE JUICE

Apple cider vinegar is by itself an effective solution. Combining it with orange juice forms an even more potent remedy as the vitamin C contents of orange juice will improve the creation of new skin cells to replace the dead and unhealthy ones.   • Squeeze some orange juice into two or three teaspoons of ACV
  • Apply it to the spots and allow it to dry up completely

4. CASTOR OIL

  • Apply castor oil with a piece of cotton to the infected areas of the skin

  • You may now wash off and dry with a clean towel

5. BUTTERMILK

  • Apply this to the affected areas with a cotton ball.

6. ALOE VERA
